Text Specifications for reporting Zip Code data
per Regulation 20 CSR 600-3.100

1. Label your diskette.  Include your NAIC number, company name and contact person (with a phone number).
2. Fill out the Appendix B form, include with diskette.
3. Make sure to scan the diskette for viruses. 
4. Multiple companies can be submitted on the same diskette.
5. Any negative values should have the negative sign before the value.

• NAIC Group Number:  This is your NAIC – assigned group number.  If you have no group code, the first four digits are “0000”.
• NAIC Company Number:  This is your NAIC – assigned company number. 
• Year:  Four-digit year being reported.
• Zip Code:  Garaging Location – Property Location
  Review MDI's website for the list of valid zip codes.
• Policy Type:  Refer to Missouri Regulation 20 CSR 600-3.100, Table A – Policy Type Code.  Copy available on MDI's website at http://www.insurance.mo.gov/industry/filings/stats/statreprt.htm
• Exposure/Loss Type:  Refer to Missouri Regulation 20 CSR 600-3.100, Table B – Exposure or Loss Type Code.
• Data Type (Upper Case):
  • AE = Automobile Exposure
  • AL = Automobile Losses
  • PE = Homeowners/Dwelling Fire Exposures
  • PL = Homeowners/Dwelling Fire Losses
  • ME = Mobilehome Exposure
  • ML = Mobilehome Losses
  • FE = Farmowners Exposure
  • FL = Farmowners Losses
  • EE = Earthquake Exposures
  • EL = Earthquake Losses
